Azure has successfully completed the first horizontal drilling operation in Gercüş, carried out in collaboration with TPAO. The project marks a significant technical milestone for the region, introducing horizontal drilling practices to an area previously limited to conventional operations.

The operation involved detailed pre-drilling analysis, formation evaluation, and site-specific engineering adjustments to address local geological conditions. Azure’s technical team worked closely with TPAO throughout the planning and execution phases to ensure operational control and drilling accuracy.
